After replacing it I hooked a test light to the ground and tested the hot wire (blue wire),which had a light which proved power was getting to it. Then when I hit the 4wd button the light went out which showed the hot wire was no longer getting power. Same as when sliding it into diff lock. Then once the 4wd button is disengaged, power returns.2005 King Quad 700 (6000 miles/10,000 km) will not start in temperatures under 20F/-7C (it turns over and you can hear it firing). It will hard start from 20F- 40F when you add a little throttle while starting it. Eventually I noticed the battery wouldn't keep full charge and would just hover around 12.5 to 12.8.

The valve seal was also a problem. The exhaust valve sit's in a pocket that allows oil to sit in it. That makes it easier for the oil to be sucked into the exhaust. Yes, the oil is being sucked into the exhaust when running. As the exhaust is blown through the exhaust port it creates a small vacuum on the valve guide area.

Jun 9, 2020 · wizkid00104. I have an 08 with a battery from 2018 which is normal lead acid. Your best bet would be to remove the battery to confirm it is a lead acid. I believe they use Yuasa batteries. If it’s lead acid, the battery tender is fine. If by chance it is a lithium ion battery, you need a tender that is compatible with lithium ion. The mount is the same on all Vinson's and the Vinson plow mount even fits my 2021 King Quad 750 (oil drain plug holes dont line up). I was planning on getting a 54" plow since my Vinson was only a 500. Per Suzuki, the u-joints are deemed none serviceable. Meaning if their worn or go bad/break. The correct fix is to replace each axle. I had mine done several years ago. Believe it cost me around $600CAD for two new rear axles.
