Ram rotary shifter stuck in park.
Probably an issue with the park position sensor, the park lock solenoid, or the park hold solenoid (or wiring). Could have been a momentary glitch. The diagnostics do basically tell the dealer (if it won't repeat) to simply check the wiring connections, clear the code, and monitor it. Dec 27, 2016. #6.

So push it lightly from drive, you get neutral, and it goes back to center, push it lightly again, goes to reverse, lightly again, park.feel the bottom of the steering column collar. you should feel 2 or 3 holes. The hole closest to the ignition is not a screw hole. grab a Philips screw driver or a metal rod, like ARC Welding Rod. Now press on the brake pedal. Then take the rod & push it up into that hole, now you should be able to shift into neutral.

The pin is not coder, and sometimes works itself free, gear selector shift linkage gets stuck usually in reverse. Find the pin as well, you dont want that rolling around your tranny. You don't need to have them programmed either, swap and go, 2wd and 4wd use the same switch but you'd have to re-use the bezel and 4wd buttons if you pick up a 2wd switch.
