Yes! Same bolt. If you look up #402830B, the rear is the same for the 782 and the 783. The front is different.

The 783's bold head fit on the X7 / XL7's bolt and fits Savage barrels right for a good head space and what some are doing. If using the X7 / XL7 bolt with a Savage barrel, about 10 thousands has to be shaved off the Marlin bolt head face for them to align right for a good head space. Either that or swapping out with a 783 bolt head will work.
