I got it in New condition from an estate sale, but no manual. Can some one tell me the proper spark plug size. I have a real nice 15 HP Gamefisher motor, model 225.587151. I purchased a brand new starter { pulley starter} from a Mercury dealer who now carry parts for the Gamefisher. The motor will not crank from the pulley starter. Its so tight that it has broken off two ropes. However the motor starts easily when the rope is attached to the fly wheel.Thanks for the reply!! The motor model # is 225 581500 (15hp) The prop that's on there now model # is tough to read but I think it's 072025. The motor is on a 14' Gamefisher Aluminum boat. We usually carry 2 avg sized poeple and fishing equipment. (Battery, Minn Kota trolling mtr, gas tank...) If there is any additional info needed I will reply.

In some gamefisher models, either there is no spark or a weak spark. In some cases it is also observed that the engine becomes hot even after just ten minutes of running. There are additional problems like excessive vibrating of the outboard engine and the sudden collapsing of the engine. It is a waste of money and time to solve these problems.

A 2 stroke motor on one cylinder would feel normal for an inexperienced operator.
