Hey j-f, You don't need to take the radio apart to fix the battery issue. All you have to do is take the battery cassette apart & remove the small charging circuit board. There is a red & black wire soldered on the board that you need to de-solder & solder on a charging/power plug & then you will be able to use a LiFe Tx battery.On the rolls of ultracoat, it has a flyer that tells you what temp certain things happen. IIRC, 220 is when the adhesive activates, and max shrinkage is 350. Actually your best bet is to use monokote to trim over ultrtacote. The Gp123 is 200 grams lighter than the Dle 130, So that is something to consider if going for a super light weight setup. I dont feel from what i have seen that the 130 will have any more power than the Gp, Especially as is got more weight on it. So if it does pull more, Its got more weight that takes away from the extra power.

The 3W 150's are more powerful than the DA 150 -- with the same prop about 150 - 250RPM for the 'standard' 150, about 250-350 for the SS series and about 500+ for the TOC series (even more the QS). 3D HobbyShop 71" Gas AJ Slick Build. I just got my first gas plane! The 3DHS 71" gas aj slick. As far as i can tell there is no damage to the plane from shipping. Unfortunately the cowling got dropped while unpacking and the balsa cracked. I will be using Hitec HS-7985MG servos and a DLE 30, i have not decided on everything else yet... Only the ARS300 91” and Extra 300 V2 89” are in stock now. I just pick up a partial assembled 91" Skywing ARS,with a GP76 mounted to it.And was very surprised in the the upper end quality, for sure. Skywing's,wing and stab mounting is great idea. EME mounts the carbs with the bolts in a vertical line where DLE mounts in a horizontal line. This means that if you turn the carb 180 and use a Pitts wrap around muffler, the needles are between the muffler and carb and impossible to access.
