All of the 1976-S Eisenhower Dollars contained in the 1976 Proof Sets are Variety 2, which have thin lettering on the reverse of the coin. The 1976 Proof Set came packaged in a two piece plastic holder. The coins were placed within individual sealed rings against a red felt background.
