2018 silverado stabilitrak and abs light on.
A few weeks ago while driving under normal conditions, the service stabilitrak message along with the abs light came on. There was no difference in driving and then few minutes later the message and light went off. Been driving it since with no problems and then yesterday when I started the car the message and light came on again.
Problems: -Code P0306 (Misfire #6 Cylinder) -Rough Idle. -Flashing Check engine light. -Service Stabilitrak/Traction Control Messages. -Hard gear shift from 1-2,2-3 also on downshift. -Very high oil Consumption (3 quarts low) Tried: -New plugs,wires,coils.18 Jul 2022 ... So, I replaced the Brake Light Switch with one that I purchased from the local GM dealer. The cruise control worked like a charm and there were no issues for several months. In December 2016, the cruise control started faltering - it would work sometimes but not others. I took the Brake Light Switch back to the dealer and they gave me a new one.
