I find Orly Bonder + ILNP + Zoya Ultra Glossy Seal can last me a week with minimal tip wear, especially if I wipe down my nail plate with some alcohol beforehand. Acetone is by far the best choice when it comes to effectiveness. But there are also many disadvantages to it such as; dry skin and nails, peeling nails, and dry cuticles. I've been using 100% acetone for quite some time and it completely removes nail polish, glitter, and even stubborn red and black nail polishes.

I usually paint mine weekly, sometimes more often, because I like changing colors. Most brands I can usually get to last 4-5 days without chipping, but it also depends on what I'm doing with my hands.

Use jojoba oil to treat the dry cuticles. Since you're growing them out I'd also recommend to wear a strengthener (not hardener, which is harsher and can make your nails peel) when you're not wearing nail polish. It protects the nail and help them grow without peeling/chipping/breaking etc. Give your nails a light buff with a buffing block and wipe with acetone before applying. The trick is to find the balance because if you use too much glue, you'll flood and then get big dried crusties. Acrylics aren't ruining your natural nails. It's the mother-frakking drill that techs use. Wear gloves if washing dishes and always have at least a clear coat in the shower. polish protects the nail, it's like adding an extra cushion. cuticle oil (jojoba, vitamin e) is to be used frequently. nail strengtheners/hardeners are to be avoided.
