Engine was overheating last week, I replaced the thermostat and all was well until today. First the "Reduced Engine Power" warning displayed, and I could feel the reduced power as if a cylinder or two weren't firing. Shortly after the "Service Traction System" warning showed. I recieved 3 separate engine fault codes: P1125, P2125, and P2138.

I checked with one GM dealership who said the pulley itself can't be replaced, the whole tensioner has to replaced to a tune of like $650.00 including tax. I checked with another GM dealership who said the pulley can be replaced, and would only take about 30 minutes. Has anyone else ever had to replace this pulley.
