91,000 MILES. I have a 1999 Ford Taurus SE 3.0L V-6 engine code U OHV that I just recently completed a headgasket job on. Before the headgasket went the car lost power as it was driving along and then shut off. Replaced the blown headgasket and all gaskets on the top end. Everything is torgued and gapped to specs. The car refuses to start now.

At first it would run fine sometime and not at all others, or shut off and not crank back for a while. Finally is shut off and will crank but not start or if it does start it shuts right back off.

I don't think there's any fuses that wouldn't hold it out in start, only in run... but check all fuses for the engine anyway. Check fuel pressure and the vacuum as well. Try depressing the gas pedal to the floor before you start cranking and see if it starts sooner. Doing that will cut the injectors off.I had it towed home. The car cranks, but will not start.
