Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice. Tradestation has much lower margins ($292 for MES) and rates. Would need to look into how the platform is though. Yea i looked at trade station before and decided on tradovate. I think they will get the reliability sorted out and honestly if it is only during crazy volatility times, i can avoid that.

If you are trying to trade on TradingView, you need a Tradovate account with apex, not Rithmic.. and even then you still need to pay for data on TradingView that’s $5 a month. It could be an issue on the Rithmic side if you have two different connections trying to be made. You would have to check this with Apex to make sure.
