Toyota rav4 not starting no crank.

(No, don't make a habit of cranking it for more than 3 seconds and I do let starter cool between tries.) 2. Starts the car for a week at a time in two seconds or less of cranking. If you took the car into the dealer with the complaint "won't start when hot", then it is up to them to diagnose the fault, and fix it. From what you say, replacing the Battery and s/motor haven't effected a fix.With the fuel rail bolt removed, fuel should SHOOT out of there with considerable force when the key is turned from off to on and during cranking. If you have a friend to crank the engine, you should be able to hear the tank pump when under the car near the tank.
