Whether using passenger side control or driver side control, when we try to raise the window to the top (closed), it gets there but then suddenly lowers to half way. Any time we try to close completely it lowers back down to half way.

My rear windows hardly ever get used and can get stuck on the rubbers. Don't even start to budge. Seems like the motor has gone but it isn't. One time you do get it down, spray some silicon spray onto a rag and give the rubbers a wipe and the top of the window, see if that makes a difference.
