I've found that the 4.0L runs best on champion copper plugs. The same kind that it came with. Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. As far as the E3 plugs or other fancy ones, thats your own decision.

The Nutter bypass actually gets rid of about 75% of the wiring under the hood and several sensors not used. Biggest advantage is the elimination of 23+ years of old wires and sensors that may or may not be working correctly. The only way would be to check each circuit seperately and measure it against the factory tolerances.Starter wires will go to the Chevy starter, along with the Chevy's wires. This keeps it simple, instead of running new wires for the starter from the Jeep key. The marks on the new stick do not line up with the marks on my old one - (ie: I have been running with 5 quarts, the new stick appears it wants to be 6 quarts...) The CJ dashes are simple, uncluttered, and are plastic free. Seeing that I have a 1987 YJ and have been modifying it with older specs; I decided to do the dash conversion. By the time I'm done with my build I'll have the best of the YJ and the best of the CJ all in one jeep.

A short time later a message was displayed stating "Service Air Suspension Immediately." My Jeep has been at the dealer ever since.

Stalled, No Start, Code P0340. The Jeep stalled while driving and wouldn't start back up so I had it towed home. I check fuses, all good. Tested all the relays in the fuse/relay box and all tested good. Tested the external relay from the TIPM recall and is good. I pulled the fuel line off the rail and there was definitely fuel pressure.
