Is it still wise to check codes (need to borrow a code reader if so). A quick check would be to turn the A/C on and then check to see that the cooling fan is on. If it is, then you could have a faulty temp sensor (not sending unit) or maybe a bad relay if it has separate ones for cooling and A/C. OP, you can run your vin and see if yours is on there. Definitely do it. I just had to take my 2016 Sonata in due to the recall a month ago. Both show up with 0 recalls. Reach out to Hyundai themselves, not a dealership. Despite it not popping up on the recall you may be able to have it fixed all the same.
