Interesting. The cliffs make it look like an insane goblin with a blue hair do. If you want to make your island bigger you can bump up water scale. You can also max out starting area size to keep your island biter-free. The island is also volcanic, full of fire and lava when playing on Alien Biomes.

My advice is to set the generator settings to this: very big and frequent water, normal-big starting area. If it doesn't give you a peninsula, you still will have something with decent choke points. Tried that for like 30min, kept getting terrible starts so dug through this sub bit and im content with this.
