Do at least tune them to Praianos brilliant tunes. For pre v1.23 tunes just add sone weight at -50 to get to the desired PP. On older tunes also check the ride height, and adjust accordingly.

The key for me was Controller Steering Sensitivity set to 2. Force Feedback Max Torque set to 8. Force Feedback Sensitivity set to 3. It gives you far more steering precision than possible with the joystick.
