Jan 25, 2010 · My first flush ever, PF Tek w/ Golden Teacher. #11896298 - 01/25/10 03:11 AM (13 years, 11 months ago) So, I just finished harvesting my first flush of my first attempt at mushroom growing. I used verm/BRF PF tek with GT strand spore syringe. 5 of my 8 original cakes ended up fruiting, and after harvest my total was around 60 wet grams.

Place the needle into the hole in your substrate jar at an angle, so the tip of the needle is up against the glass. Then GENTLY inject 1/4th of a CC into the jar. If you're going to use coffee in pf tek, use weak liquid coffee to hydrate the rice flour. Coffee grinds are a bulk substrate material and great when used with coir, manure, compost, etc., but with grains they only dilute the mix. Brown rice flour is far more nutritious for mushroom mycelium than coffee grinds. RR.

Apr 10, 2013 · its pretty easy. just use the rations, so for every 2 1/2 pint cakes you need 1 pint of bulk. When i done a few mini bulk double tubs i used 2 half pints to 1 pint of manure/verm. the tubs i used were 3 litre food containers, 2 of them to make a double tub. The amount of spawn and bulk will depend on the size of container you are going to use.

Feb 1, 2024 · I started my PF Tek jars about 50 days ago. They've been a bit slow but I think the jars were packed a little too tight plus its winter, so I expected them to be a little slow. I think they're nearing about the time to start fruiting conditions. Ive never done this before and I feel like there's only so much you can learn from online forums.
