You can get precise manual focus with either a Nikon DSLR (Nikon Df) that can accept it as well as adapting it to a mirrorless camera (Olympus PEN-F). 531. May 3, 2021. #17. I have the FTZ adapter. I got it with the "Deal" on my Z50 ($99). I use it with both my Z50 and Z5 so I can use all my collection of F-mount lenses on either body. I also have the Fringer Canon EF to Nikon Z adapter which allows me to make use of some of my favorite Canon lenses on my Z's.It is fastest on the D500 and Z 9. And noticeably slower on the Z 6 and Z 7. On the Z 9, the AF performance of the adapted 500PF is just as fast and accurate as the native 100-400. The first MH-18a I got came with the D200 and shipped with the EN-EL3e. The MH-18 and EN-EL3 only have two contacts, whereas the MH-18a and EN-EL3e have a third contact. Feb 12, 2018 · The 24-120 is weakest around 85-120mm, where I definitely need to stop down at least one stop. It's also less than perfect in the corners at 24mm. I tend to bring my 85/1.8 along for situations that need more wide open sharpness and better bokeh, and my 16-35 to cover the weakness at 24mm. Cheers.
