Check the vehicle for face plugging by removing the exhaust pipe at the DPF and at the SCR. Make sure the screens are not plugged up for they can cause this code to show. Really the only time you need it is if you have had the upper timing gear cover off or replaced the cover. Honestly, it’s usually the harness or harness end. Good, bad, ugly? We have a '04 613 Vision w 427hp E-7 coupled to a Mack 13 speed & 3:70 rears. Engine is a pooche until it gets up to 1200 -1300 rpm, then it like a completely different truck. Truck has about 580,000 miles, no major issues but always seems to have some type of electrical issue.SCR efficiency looks bad (all 5 evaluations hovering around or lower than 80%) NOx conversion just before shutdown looks good (Both NOx sensors are within 10% of each other and values between 200-500ppm). When in doubt replace sensor reading higher value (higher by atleast 10%). DEF quality inspection is good Dosing flow test is good (52-58cc)
