LECOM’s is less than 2%. Someone posted earlier that not taking the MCAT could put you at a disadvantage in applying to other medical school…absolutely. If you don’t take the MCAT there are only a handful of medical schools you can apply to. Also, the AIS and MCAT minimums are to qualify for an interview. They don't guarantee admission.

Not everyone's hometown is in PA. Applying to private school means being out of state doesn't matter. In my interview group of 15 at LECOM-B only 2 or 3 were from Florida, the rest were from all over. In essence, if your home school accepts you and LECOM accepts you, that spot is probably going to open up again because of the cost.
