Interested in hearing about the differences in programming experiences for the different tracks (trading/SWE/biz dev) from alums. Specifically what you did on the day to day and whether it was rewarding? Founded in 2000, Jane Street employs over 500 people. We are always recruiting top students and the environment at Jane Street is open, informal, intellectual and fun. The dress code is casual, the kitchen is stocked and discussions are always lively. Teaching and learning are central activities through classes, mentoring and discussion.Yes, the SWE OA was coding questions and the trading OA is a basic game theory puzzle. For my program they didn't do interviews, these were OAs. They will not ask SWE candidates probability/game theory/etc. The trading puzzle I got was minimal prob and just game theory / logic thinking. 2.Jane Street Immersion Program (JSIP) People who did the Jane Street Immersion Program for freshman, what was the interview process like? Specifically, what type of questions were given for the technical interview. Even if you didn't do this exact program, I'd like any insight on how Jane Street's technicals are in general.
