First, there is a question about whether you are boarding a vessel or sailboat. I said no, but afterwards I realized we are boarding the ferry to St. John.

Save. Just visited Denis Bay- not a great path to carry much- narrow and slippery in spots with trees so you have to duck at times, but it's doable if you had to I suppose. Nice, less crowded spot and good snorkeling on the right side. Fun little island to explore right offshore- great views but slippery.

Although the no-see-ums are unpredictable, the mosquitoes are easier to avoid. In general, February and March and early April are reliably the driest months, and the most mosquito free. The prettiest photo of a sunset didn't start out that way but when it was over, people were bumper to bumper on the beach taking pics. An orange to blood red sunset....breath-taking!

We are supposed to fly out very early Thursday morning (8/5) so I submitted positive antibody tests on Saturday morning at 9:00 for the four members of our family.
