Hi Laqueristas! I purchased a small pot of the new chrome powder. But I only use regular nail polish, not gels. I see all (or all that I've seen) videos show this powder being used exclusively on gel nails. I've tried it on my regular polish and while I can get it to kinda shine, when I topcoat it, it does some odd things.

I use OPI’s Nail Envy. It’s 100% the reason why I’m able to grow my nails out at all. And a bottle lasts a really long time - I notice that it starts to be less effective at around 1/4 of a bottle left (by which I mean, when I use it at a base coat, my nail polish chips more quickly with an old bottle than a new one), but getting to that point takes a while for me.
