For all the reasons you mentioned and more, the drop rates, large exotic pool, and RNG-based stat rolls make farming lost sectors absolutely worthless, in my opinion, outside of getting your first roll on an exotic to unlock it. I want lost sectors to be cool/moderately tough content for solo players.
