So NISA now gets money if people buy the better of the two ports to apply the patch to. Otherwise I would agree with you that NISA loosening up would make no sense.The PS5 port might be bad but Kuro 2 PS5 version was great. The Kuro ports are fine, much better than the Cold Steel ports. I always go for the pc versions, not only if they run better if you have a decent pc (so far for Falcom games I didn’t need the latest and greatest), but modding often also comes in handy.

Kuro 1 is completely done. Just buy the NISA version of the game on Steam, and you can patch and play it now. Kuro 2 is in a more sticky situation all around, but as of now, it's a little more than half done, maybe 60%. You can get the links from /fg/ on 4chan. Thanks man!

This game is the first in the Calvard arc of the long-running series. You may wish to play other titles in the series to understand the whole story. If you care most about PS5 this has no effect on you whatsoever. It's pretty great and one of the freshest experiences I've had in this series. I already know what happens in Kuro 2 but I've been playing it and am on the final chapter right now. I definitely really enjoy some of the improvements in terms of gameplay. It's definitely a good step up from Kuro 1.
