The fan would not turn on with the remote, but the light did. The same model fan was in another bedroom that worked correctly. Today I swapped the fans' locations.

The light DOES NOT work using any method. However - when attempting to turn the light on via remote - we can hear the switch clicking inside the light unit. Still - pull-cord method doesn't work.
