3 Answers. When fuel pump primes up prior to cranking and starting there is fuel pressure to rail. Maybe a/some wires came loose or ground was broken when hitting the bump back on the frame rail to pump or at/near fuel pump, I would check for power to it and relay for it and any other grounds you can find, if rusty frame is an issue may remove ...
