Elden ring reforged vs convergence.
To put a practical face to it, I'm waiting for a mod like Convergence or Cinders. That's why I said it depends on the kind of mod, what it changes and the tools available, Acended mod is an overhaul mod, Reforged mod is also an overhaul mod, all the tools are available, there is nothing to be "overly cautious" about.

If you want an experience close to the base game go reforged. If you want to be an absolutely overpowered spell caster go convergence.
