The ES models are almost identical to the foot shift models, except the ES just uses an electric motor to move the shift linkage. Most 4-wheeler problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars and the seat!! You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.It can be the shift motor! Mine was stuck between 2 and 3. code 22. could not manually shift it (locked in place).
