The GSG-5 is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It is built by German Sport Guns GmbH, an airsoft wholesaler located in Ense-Höingen, Germany. It was unveiled at the IWA & Outdoor Classics trade show in March 2007 following the legalization of previously forbidden military-style weapons in Germany.
The MP5 in .22 manages to feel very similar to the original in its ergonomics and functionality. The grip, magazine, fore-end, fire selector, and, of course, charging handle all speak to the experience of running an H&K. HK MP5 .22 50 Round Drum Magazine For The MP5-A5 & MP5-SD .22 Rifle. Made in the USA by BDM exclusively for HKPARTS. Using an existing drum model that is tried and true. Fits all HK MP5 .22 variants: HK, Walther, Umarex MP5 & MP5 SD .22 rifles.
