Maces are really good allround weapons thanks to armor penetration. Combined with shield, you and thrall can stun almost every human enemy to death (even bosses). Shield can help you survive if you struggle, just defend and wait for your thrall to take aggro. 1.There's a lot of really good PvE options. None of them are the best in all circumstances.
