Contraverse with Opressive Darkness and Handheld nova is the best thing ever. It absolutely melts all sorts of enemies. Nezarec just doesn't buff me as well. Needing kills is both unreliable in high level content and a chore. Contraverse Holds on the other hand have always been super effective and have no requirements other than landing a hit with the nades. Lately though, with all the previous nerfs to vortex grenade cooldowns, I'm liking them less and less. Best void warlock build for PVE. Top Tree void + Contraverse Hold. Max discipline on Armour. You have a super powered grenade every 10 seconds or so. They are so strong and you can spam them because of Contraverse. In gambit I can literally just spam them at the primeval and it just melts away, just from those.
This has been my Voidlock Build for a good while. Any way to possibly improve it? Ill have the Contraverse Hold masterworked by next week and have 10 Res,10 Rec and 70 Disc (with Undermining aspect) Helm - Super energy on nade kill. Arms - firepower (orbs on nade kill), class energy on nade hit, fastball. Legs - Nade energy on orb pickup, surge of choice x2. Class item - Nade energy on rift cast, orb on kill after rift cast, time dilation. Aspects - Overcharge, Devour/Child. Unforgiven with Demo/Golden Tricorn is my favorite primary for contraverse. I like Witherhoard for primary and undermining fragment. You can suck enemies together and get them all inside Witherhoard. And you can get artifact subclass damage buff + tricorn + surge mod + volatile off primary, on top of weaken it's absurdly good primary dps.1 is accuracy. 2 is higher level enemies. 3 is orbs. 4 is throw the nade, hit this the enemy, get the orb, throw the nade, make a rift, shoot the enemy, throw the nade, get the orb and melee some in between if necessary. Depending on how recently you tried out this build, it might not be working properly.Don't, please don't that in PvE. Best build for PvP is either top tree dawnblade, preferably with wings of the sacred dawn, or pretty much any arc tree, for bottom tree, use crown of tempest, middle tree either crown, escape artist, or geomag stabilisers (kinda meh but can work if you get lucky), and for top tree either crown or escape artist.
