But I also like the low sights on the SAS, though there is no safety. The porting is what intrigues me most on the SAS. Ive always had great experiences with ported pistols. NOTES: P365XL and P365Macro Tacops slides will receive dual top windows. Ported SAS slides will receive recesses above the front serrations however a new window will not be machined. Ported SAS slides will also NOT receive top mini serrations or a top window. The Predator milling CAN NOT be perfomed on the X Macro due to the factory porting.The P365 features a patented modified double-stack magazine capable of 10+1, 12+1, 15+1, and even 17+1 full-size capacity. I received it back and plan on heading to the range Sunday to shoot it, comparing it to my non-ported P365 (side by side). Having owned an SAS, the porting, subjectively, does seem to help muzzle flip...tho' it isn't a big deal in the 365 in any case. Also clocked the SIG 365 ammo in both the ported and unported guns...the lot of rounds made more difference than the type of barrel. Both were around 1100 fps. I picked up the P365 SAS as a carry gun because of it’s small size and anti-snag treatment. The grip is a bit small for me so my first option is to move up to 12 round mags hoping the mag extension will give that little bit more grip space. If this does not work I may go up to a P365 xl grip with my P365 slide.

the SAS and sights were a good idea executed poorly. They are a complete change from traditional sights and will cover half of your sight picture. And the lack of tritium makes them completely worthless and unusable if your in a low/no light situation.
