Honestly, I was quite please with how manageble the recoil was. But my example may not be the best because mine weighs 31oz vs the other 24-26oz Kimbers.

So my UC2 has close to 800 rounds through it. 300 more than the recommended break in period. Unfortunately, it has issues going into full battery as once every other mag or so a round nose dives upward in the chamber causing a failure to feed. I just got a Kimber Ultra Carry 2 and I am having constant feed problems. I just got the gun two days ago and fired it for the first time.
