A thought was to shave off some of the welded "bushing" on the hitch (where the lower attaching rod goes through) to fit but I don't know if the rest of the geometry is different.

The hose AM131722 is definitely used on the 425.445.455 model tractors on the front quik hitch. It could be you just need another fitting to screw onto the new hose, which you should be able to take off the old hose. Check this closely as if you have the old hose, the fittings on it can be transferred to the new hose and it likely will work.
