How to Import osu! Skins. This guide will teach you how to import skins, those that come as .osk files and those that come as .zip, .rar, and .7z files. This guide is written for Windows, but it should work on other operating systems with a few changes here and there.

From the beginning menu, go to Options -\> Display Options -\> Appearance Options and change Theme to osu_to_etterna.; In the song selection menu, go to Player Options.; Change NoteSkin to osu_to_etterna_noteskin.

If you already have skins in osu!stable, then scroll down to the bottom of the settings and there should be a pink or blue button that says "Import skins from stable". If you don't have osu stable or are on mobile, ask someone else. drag and drop the osk file to the game window.
When developing your skin, you can put anything in the skinning folder, including other folders. osu! will simply ignore them, so you can keep your .xcf or .psd files in the same folder to edit them later if needed. When releasing your skin, however, you should remove such files to keep the file size down.
