Heck, a strength build doesn't hate a Heavy Nagakiba. Really depends on the stats you're going for if you're going full dex probably keen for example or if you're going for arcane then bleed. Arcane would be better with occult, since it has natural blood loss. As people pointed out it depends on your build.

Infusing with bleed to up it's bleed buildup or occult to scale with arcane can get pretty strong. There will be some bosses that don't bleed though so you'll want a backup option in those instances. I personally really like spin slash on a cold nagakiba regardless of build. Most people see katanas and think 'dex build!!' or some stupid mix between Dex and arcane. Don't. Here's what you do for the optimal combined AR and bleed build-up; -get 18 strength, 22 Dex ( base for Nagakiba) -level to your preferred health and endurance. -dump the rest into arcane. - Occult infuse your Nagakiba. Rivers of blood +10 or Blood Nagakiba+25 ? Dual blood uchigatanas are the way to go. Rivers of blood is bugged atm. Scaling doesnt work. Since rivers of blood is bugged atm Id say Nagakiba, I’m guessing your using a bleed build? If so I guess you’ll get more out of the nagakiba with seppuku.
I was using golden vow because I started the game wanting to be a confessor paladin build but then I kinda went to a katana shield build. I use carian retaliation on my shield combined with the bell. Then my nagakiba is+16. I never really activated golden vow. It was just there.
