After that it will be distributor, and fuel delivery. I was chasing a misfire in one cylinder for a while before I got it figured out. In the end it was a bad fuel injector.

Generally, you warm up the truck, put a meter on a sensor, at idle, and take a reading. S/b something like .5vdc. Run the revs up to about 2500rpm. You should see the voltage run up to 1vdc, or so. This is a good sensor.

If you remove the bolt first, its easier to pull up by the wire. disconnect the wire, and throw away, connect the new one, and bolt the new one in. ONLY use 20lbs. torque to tighten it down.Perform "Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning". 2. Perform "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning". 3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. 4. Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 10 seconds. 5. Knock sensor location is right underneath the intake manifold. You will have to take my manifold and fuel rail off. Then remove the intake manifold and it's right in the middle of the pistons . Replace the intake manifold gasket. This is a 2.4 hours job. let me know if you have further questions.
